My 2nd 135mm film result

After my 1st 135mm film experience, I didn't put much expectation for my 2nd roll of film

And sadly, the result was super blur but at least the light leakage problem was lesser this time

Should be more steady next time and explore more of my Holga baby

My 1st 135mm film result

I went to take my 1st rol of developed film the next day as soon as I finished my work together with my 2nd roll of film

The result of my 1st roll was bad

The shop owner even didn't help me to scan the picture as what I have requested due to the shaky and serious light leakage problem

I was disappointed

After some discussion with the shop owner, I realized that the light leakage problem was mainly due to the way that I have taken out my film from my camera

Since it was my 1st time taking out the film from my camera, I did it inside a cupboard which was not dark enough for the film and that had spoiled the film

However, I took out my 2nd film from my camera inside my black office bag

According to the shop owner, that would not work for the film as well since the film is really sensitive to light

I was advised to take out the film inside a professional 'black bag' to solve the problem

He also suggested me to start with 120mm film instead of 135mm film since I am new and the camera was meant for 120mm film

I taken his advice and get my 120mm film from the store

Hopefully my second roll will be better

My 2nd roll of film

I took my film to develop 1 week after the shooting since I was busy with my house moving and work

That means, I was shooting with my second roll of 135 film before I have seen the result of my first roll

I took them to walk around Singapore and without realizing, 36 pictures was taken

Cant wait to see my 1st film result

My 1st lomo shooting

It was Saturday

I dragged my two girlfriends to East Coast (I was in Singapore during that period) that day to have my first lomo shooting

I run through all the manual again before I get started just to ensure that I would take the correct steps

It feels fake and unsafe when I first captured picture using my Holga

Fake because the feeling of shooting was so 'fake'

With one slight click, one film was gone

Unsafe because I can't view the picture

I was so used to digital camera

But still, it was real fun and cool

The feeling was indescribable

I felt deeper in love with my baby after the first touch with him

My 1st lomo camera

My first baby was bought online

My Black Holga 120 GN

I was super excited when I first get him

He was much lighter than what I have imagined

I have get myself the Holga body, Flash with filter, fish eye lens, 135mm adapter and of course a roll of 135 film

I go through each of the manual carefully and try to play with them

I really can't wait for my first shooting session

Since the film that I bought was the ISO 100 135 film

Therefore I have to wait for the sunny weekend to take outdoor picture

*Waiting patiently*

My lomography crush

I am quite new in lomography

The first time I heard about 'lomo' was during my architectural workshop in Melacca with student from University of Kansas, US

One of the Kansas student (Keith Moore) was using lomo cam

At first, I didn't take much attention to the camera until he posted the photo in Facebook

The effect was..."woh!!"

All that pictures really attract me

Then, I went to all those old photography shops around Kepong area and what I can get was only film camera with expensive offer

The second time I came across with lomography again was very intentionally

I was searching for Hong Kong travel guide in Google

Then, there was a link to lomography in one of the website

That made me took the effort to search online and get to know more about lomography

I get more and more excited when I go deeper in lomography

I started to search for sources that I can get my lomo camera from and compare the prices

After the research, I decided to buy my first lomo camera - Black Holga 120 GN
